Meet the founder

Cassandra Ream has been planning elevated events for more than a decade. As a former Artistic Director of a professional ballet company, she offers a multi-disciplinary approach to planning & design. This has quickly earned her a valued reputation amongst her clients. Her team has now produced over 200 weddings & events of various scales. She believes each gathering is as original as the client’s story, a true work of art. That is why we are Art In Motion Design.

  • We will begin by getting to know you & take a deep dive into what is most important. Identifying venues, budget allocation & securing professional services.

  • This is the fun part! What you want is at the core of the design process. We’ will establish a detailed design deck that reflects the key elements and every aspect required to bring your event to life.

  • Working with an experienced planner is the difference between a stressful planning process and an enjoyable one. We will guide you through the entirety of the planning process from start to finish to ensure your gathering is a great success. You can expect to experience peace of mind and have all your concerns alleviated, no matter how small.

  • Event day is where our team shines! Our team carries out all the logistics of the timeline, floorplan and production schedule with precision. Our highest priority is to execute your day flawlessly so you can enjoy your day with your guests.

Your Questions, Answered

  • Cassandra Ream works directly with every client. Though she does have an intimate team of trusted colleagues and assistants, you’ll work one-on-one with Cassandra herself throughout the planning process rather than being handed off to someone else. She only takes on 5 clients a year to ensure that each one gets the level of attention and service they deserve. If you’re interested in working with Cassandra Ream, we recommend reaching out now, as our calendar is limited and does book up quickly.

  • We offer a free 30-minute consultation to get better acquainted with our clients to discuss the plans they wish to make. From there, if we are a good fit for the project we send over a proposal for review and to follow a contract.

  • We are based in Lake Tahoe & Sn Luis Obispo. Our portfolio showcases our frequent work in Lake Tahoe, San Luis Obispo, Palo Alto, San Diego and Northern California. We work where our clients need us to go. We have traveled globally to meet our clients’ needs. Some of our favorite past destinations include Aix-en-Provence France, Verona Italy, Ortisei Austria and Hawaii.

  • While weddings tend to be the majority of events we produce, we have extensive experience in producing charitable events, corperate gatherings and performance art-centered events. Please contact to inquire for more details.

  • Budgets are always customized to meet our clients’ needs and expectations. However, our clients typically budget a minimum of $650-$2,000 per guest.
